He is member of European Respiratory Society, life member Indian Chest society, life member National College of Chest physician (India), life member Indian Academy of Allergy, life member Indian society for study of lung cancer, Member Research council, centre for study of Men & Environment and past president Occupational health and safety Association Jharkhand. He is also WHO trained in dust diseases of miners and ILO classification of Pneumoconiosis.
